Below is a dream of mine to stay in. I have had this article for many years and one day will just stay in the trees and
let the beauty of nature surround my pensive soul. Nourishing my spirit and fulfilling my dream of staying in the trees.

The pictures below are from the very early 70's.
The ones in McSorleys NYC were donated by Jim Davidson. Click

Give Peace A Chance

As a former hippie myself I often travel back in time through memories,
to a place filled with such empowerment of spirit and faith.

Empowerment being the knowledge that you as a person have the right and the Karmic duty,
to make a difference by act or deed.
That to show another the way to enlightenment of spirituality and faith,
is part of your own growth as a human being. What gives light brings light even to one's soul.

Faith is a personal thing. I have a deep spirituality which I call faith that I live by.
I do not believe in organize religion but do believe in a higher power.
I believe if you live by the Golden Rule  "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You"
in essence this makes you a person of faith in the truest form.
As a true child of the 60's and 70's I fought for the right to say out loud what was in my soul.
And no matter how old I become I still hear the chanting of those three magical simple words.
LOVE
PEACE
UNDERSTANDING

This is such a worthwhile dream

Imagine

These words are truly part of the Golden Rule.
If we could all just live these words.

In this time of upheaval and all the cries for change which we so desperately need.
Our economy, our civil rights (big brother is taking on more and more of our rights to decision for
our own lives choices),
cost of living, and of course the war in Afghanistan (which I agree on) and Iraq which I vehemently do not.
we must become involved in the
political arena even if it is only to VOTE.
So all of you who feel as I do VOTE and stand proud and tall as we are doing in even this smallest way giving our voices to the change we so desperately need.

So unite in change dear friends in love and free spirit for there our voices still can be heard.
This page is just a memory page of sorts, filled with pictures and brochures of that time in life between the late sixties and through the seventies
when all things were still possible and some of us wove flowers in our hair.
We were activists for change and lovers of music and wished only love and peace for all.
Come visit often as it will continue to evolve as I find more treasures to share.
