Joe Namath was my first Football Hero.
Actually he is the reason I became interested in football at all.
I loved his style and admired his antics both on the field and off.
His television series was a must no matter what I was doing (remember it was
the 70's),
but I always made it in time to watch.
I still go out of my way to watch any news about him and what he is doing
even now.
That is what hero worship does, it knows no age limits.
